The Buckhorn High School Band Booster’s Association “Ensuring the Music Plays On”

The Buckhorn High School Band Booster’s Association is a non-profit organization comprised of the parents of the Buckhorn High School Band’s student members. The band program receives no state funding and therefore relies heavily upon the Association’s support. Its purpose is to provide personal and financial support to the Buckhorn High School Band program through volunteerism and fundraising efforts so it is able to obtain all that is essential to the success of this award-winning program.

It is said that it takes a village to raise a child. The same is true when it comes to supporting this great program. Every year, the Buckhorn High School Band has grown in membership and continues to gain more notoriety as an award-winning ensemble both at the local and regional levels. While an increase in student membership is a GOOD thing, it results in an increased need for the involvement of dedicated parents to make sure this program can endure, grow and improve.
