A Decade of Congratulations

As I come to the end of my 10th year as director of bands at Buckhorn High School I could not have asked for a better State performance to close out this decade. The band had an excellent performance, scored superior ratings across the board and had a very good day of travel on a beautiful day in Tuscaloosa.

State Band Assessment Information 08

This year the band will be participating in the State Band Assessment at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The band will perform in the Frank M Moody Music Building Auditorium at 4:30pm on March 12th.

Starting on February 25th the Buckhorn High School Band Boosters is participating in a Schwan’s Fundraiser to help raise money for the band. All profits will be credited to the designated student provided during the order.

Congratulations Band

Congratulations to the band for their superior ratings at District Assessment today at Grissom High School. The band will now prepare for State Assessment, which has been requested for March 12th at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa.
