The following is instructions for 'hand washing" the uniform pants:

Since the pants cannot be put in the dryer, they should be hand washed with enough time to allowed for drying.  

• Do NOT bleach.
• Soak in warm water at least 30 minutes. Then apply soap, like Tide or Cheer. Scrub muddy areas with a brush.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Do NOT wring or twist the pants to get water out.
• Hang to dry. Do NOT put in dryer.
• All the dirt may not come out and the pants may still be stained. I have researched the internet for ways to remove “red Alabama dirt”. I have tried everything and have not found a way to get rid of the stains.  If anyone does have a cleaner which works, I’d like to know about it.
