How do I get a locker? PDF Print E-mail

Lockers are available for students to store instruments and equipment.  Each student will be assigned a locker by Mr. Raney according to their instrument or type of equipment they are responsible for keeping.  Students should keep the doors of their lockers in a closed position at all times for safety purposes.

Keyed Locks

Students may choose to use a lock on their locker in order to secure items.  (Combination locks are not allowed at this time.) Before a student places a keyed lock on their locker they must first give Mr. Raney a copy of the key with his/her name on the key. (Permanent marker directly on the key or write on tape)

Lost key protocol

  • The first time a student forgets or loses their key Mr. Raney will open the locker and close the lock on the locker so it may not be used until the student finds their lock key.
  • The second time a student forgets or loses their key Mr. Raney will take the lock for one week.
  • Any additional loss of a key may result in losing the privilege of locking the locker.

Students must understand the lockers are property of the school system and may be opened at any time.  If a student puts a lock on their locker without Mr. Raney having an extra key they will lose their privilege of locking their lockers.  If a student continues to lock their locker they will lose their locker.
