Family Fun Night Planning Committee Needs Volunteers: The date for the “2nd Annual Family Fun Night” has tentatively been set as Saturday, March 6th, 2010. In order to make this fundraiser a success, a planning committee is being set up to begin coordinating all of the work that needs to be done to make this coming year’s event even more successful than last year’s. If you are interested in helping, please contact either Ed Martin or Pete Valentine. The first meeting of the planning committee will take place on Monday, November 30th, 2009 at 6:30pm (location to be determined). Help is needed both with obtaining corporate donations for the event and with planning/organizing the event’s activities. Last year the Family Fun Night included carnival games, a “Guitar Hero” tournament, a silent auction, drawings for a variety of prizes, dinner, a performance by the BHS Jazz Band, and other activities. Thank you, Mr. Riggs: The Band Boosters Board would like to thank Mr. Kevin Riggs for taking photos of the Class of 2010 Band Seniors. When the Senior Night activities didn’t go quite as planned due to rain, Mr. Riggs helped out by taking photos of the seniors at the following home football game. Thank you very much, Kevin. The pictures came out great!Experimental Aircraft Association Breakfast Volunteers Needed: There are a number of openings for volunteers in the spring to work at the EAA Breakfast fundraising activity at Moontown Airport. Both adults and students are needed. Please contact Ed Martin if you can help. Up-coming Events: The events listed below are coming up in December and in the spring. Please plan to attend, if at all possible. Thanks.
