SIGHT-READING
WILL BE PROVIDED AT AUDITION
YOUR AUDITION SCORE WILL BE BASED ON TONE QUALITY, PREPARATION (notes, rhythms, articulations, and dynamics), ACCURACY, AND SIGHT-READING

IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO PLAY SOMETHING SLOWER THAN THE SUGGESTED TEMPO SO AS TO BE PLAYED MORE RHYTHMICALLY ACCURATE THAN TO PLAY FASTER AND INCORRECTLY

PAY ATTENTION TO WRITTEN TEMPOS – BUT YOU CAN (and should) PLAY SLOWER THAN THE RECORDING IF YOU WANT!
